Tilmidan 25% is the trade name of solution ready to use, it contains the antibiotic Tilmicosin Phosphate to resist and to get rid of Mycoplasma and the infectious gram+ve and gram-ve bacteria
Indications
– Tilmidan is indicated for treatment of Mycoplasmosis that effect lung (Pneumonia), air sacs, heart, eyes (Ophthalmitis,Conjunctivitis), joints (Arthritis) and testicles
– Tilmidan is indicated for treatment of respiratory Infections (as CRD, Bronchitis, Bronchopneumonia, Pneumonia, Sinusitis) that are caused by the sensitive bacteria to Tilmicosin Phosphate (Mycoplasma, Pasturella, Haemophilus, Staphylococcus, Mannheimia haemolytica) in calves, lambs & poultry
Dosage
– Calves,lambs: 1ml\20kg body weigh in drinking water
– Poultry: 30ml\100 liter of drinking water for 5 days
Contraindications
– Not to be used in cases of hypersensitivity to Tilmicosin Phosphate
– Contraindicated in goat, kids, horse, rabbit and hamsters
– Not to be used in mature cattle or mature ruminant
– Contraindicated in pregnant animal
Drug Interactions
– Avoid giving Tilmidan with Lincomycin
– Avoid giving Tilmidan with other Macrolides
Side Effects
– It may cause lameness
– It may cause Anorexia
