Compositions
Each 100ml DanaCipron-C contains:
– Ciprofloxacin (as HCL) 5g
– Colistin Sulphate 25,000,000 IU
Product description
DanaCipron-C is the trade name of solution ready to use, it contains the antibiotics Ciprofloxacin and Colistin Sulphate to resist and to get rid of the infectious gram+ve and gram-ve bacteria
Indications
– Danacipron is indicated for Gastrointestinal infections (as Bacterial diarrhea, Enteritis) and respiratory infections (as CRD, Bronchitis, Bronchopneumonia, Pneumonia, Sinusitis) that are caused by the sensitive bacteria to Ciprofloxacin and Colistin Sulfate (Staphylococci, Streptococci, Listeria, Clostridium, Pasteurella, Salmonella, Haemophilus, Klebsiella, E.coli, Campylobacter, Serpulina hyodysenteriae) in calves ,lambs and poultry
Dosage
– Immature ruminant (calves,lambs): 0.5-1 ml\10kg b.w in drinking water for 3 days
– Poultry: 1-2 ml\1 liter of drinking water for 3-5 days
Contraindications
– Not to be used in cases of hypersensitivity to Ciprofloxacin or Colistin Sulfate
– Not to be used in animals that have renal or hepatic insufficiency
– Not to be used in mature cattle or mature ruminant
– Not be used in kids
Drug Interactions
– Avoid giving Danacipron-C with Nitrofurantoin
– Avoid giving Danacipron-C with Antacid preparation
– Avoid giving Danacipron-C with water containing minerals
– Avoid giving Danacipron-C with Neuromascular agents
Side Effects
– The drug may cause vomiting or diarrhea when used at high doses and for long period
– The drug maybe neurotoxic & nephrotoxic at high doses and for long periods
