Each 1ml Baramethasone 0.4% contains 4mg of Dexamethazone

Baramethasone 0.4% is the trade name of a sterile injectable solution, it contains Dexamethasone (Corticosteroid)
As an active ingredient, which has anti-pyretic, anti-Inflammatory and analgesic action
Indications
– Used as a supportive treatment of acute and chronic inflammatory conditions
– Used as a supportive treatment of treat acute painful conditions
– Used as a supportive treatment of treat high fever
– Can be given with other antibiotics as an adjuvant
– Bronchodilator
– Can be given to animals that suffer from poisoning
Dosage
IM or IV
– Cattle,Sheep,Goat,Equine: 1ml\50kg b.w
– Dog,Cat: 1ml\20 kg b.w
Contraindications
– Not to be used in cases of hypersensitivity to Dexamethazone
– Not to be used in cases that suffers from Cardiac insufficiency or nephritis
– Not to be used in animals that suffers from diabetes mellitus
– Not to be used in pregnant or lactating animal
Drug Interactions
– Avoid giving Baramethasone with Antidiabetics, analgesic & diuretics drugs
Side effects
– It may cause gastrointestinal ulceration
– It may cause enlargement of the liver
– It may cause deposition of calcium in skin
– It may cause sodium, water retention & hypokalaemia when used for long period
– It may cause polydipsia & polyuria

Withdrawal time
– Meat: 21 days – Milk: Contraindicated in animals that produce milk
