Each 100ml Barazole 7.5% contains 7.5g of Levamisole HCL
Product description
Barazole 7.5% is the trade name of solution ready to use, it contains the Anthelmintic Levamisole Hcl as active ingredient to get rid of internal parasites (gastrointestinal worms, lung worms) in cattle, sheep, goat and poultry
Indications
– Barazole kills:
1- Adult and immature gastrointestinal round worms (as Haemonchus, Ostertagia, Trichostrongylus, Cooperia, Oesophagostomum, Bunostomum, Nematodirus)
2- Lung round worms (as Dictyocaulus)
3- Eye worms, warble larvae (as Hypoderma)
Dosage
– Large animals (cattle,sheep,goat): 1-2ml\15kg b.w
– Poultry: 2ml\1 liter of drinking water for 12 hours
** Repeat after 21 days.

Note
– Atropine is the antidote of Levamisole
Contraindications
– Not to be used in cases of hypersensitivity to Levamisole
– Not to be used in animals that have renal or hepatic insufficiency
– Don’t use with Organophosphate compounds or with Diethylcarbamazine citrate
– Don’t exceed the dose
Drug Interactions
– Avoid giving Barazole with Pyrantel, Diethylcarbamazine & Organophosphate drugs. Because they may enhance the toxic effects of Levamisole
Side effects
– High doses may cause diarrhea, anorexia & salivation
– It may cause coughing (for 15-30 minutes) after treatment, because adult worms are expelled from the bronchi
