Each 1ml DanaBental 2.5% contains 25mg of Albendazole
Product description
DanaBental 2.5% is the trade name of solution ready to use, it contains the Anthelmintic Albendazole as active ingredient to get rid of internal parasites (gastrointestinal worms, lung worms) of cattle, sheep, goat, horse and rabbit
Indications
DanaBental kills:-
– Adult and immature Gastrointestinal round worms
– Lung round worms (as Dictyocaulus)
– Some Trematodes (as Fasciola hepatica)
– Some tape worms (as Moniezia)
Dosage
– For small animal (calve,sheep,goat):
* For susceptible parasites: 4-5mg\kg b.w (1.5-2 ml\10kg b.w)
* For adult liver flukes: 7.5-15 mg\kg b.w (3-6 ml\10kg b.w)
– For large animals (cows,horses): 14ml\50kg b.w
– For rabbits: 0.5ml\1 liter of drinking water
**The dose must be repeated after 14 days
Contraindications
– Not to be used in cases of hypersensitivity to Albendazole
– The drug shouldn’t be used in the first 45 days of pregnancy
– Don’t exceed the dose
Side effects
– It may cause coughing (for 15-30 minutes) after treatment, because adult worms are expelled from the bronchi

Withdrawal time
– Meat: 14 days – Milk: 4 days
