Each 12g of Diastop contains:
– Oxytetracycline (as HCL)
– Neomycin
– Sulfaguanidine
– Kaolin
– Pectin
– Bismuth Subnitrate
Product description
Diastop is the trade name of a water soluble powder containing 3 antibiotics (Oxytetracycline, Neomycin, Sulfaguanidine) to resist and to get rid of the infectious gram+ve and gram-ve bacteria, also it contains many substances (Kaolin, Pectin, Bismuth Subnitrate) that can limit the secretions in the digestive tract and controlling diarrhea.
Indications
– Diastop is indicated for treatment of gastrointestinal infections in immature and mature ruminant (as bacterial Enteritis), so it is used to treat bacterial diarrhea
Dosage
– Immature ruminant (calve,lamb,kids): 1 packet daily
– Mature ruminant (cows,sheep,goat): 2 packets twice daily
Contraindications
– Not to be used in cases of hypersensitivity to any composition of that drug
