Each 100ml Barabutazon 20% contains 20g of Phenylbutazon

Barabutazon 20% is the trade name of a sterile injectable solution, it contains Phenylbutazon as an active ingredient, which has anti-pyretic, anti-Inflammatory and analgesic action
Indications
– Used as a supportive treatment of acute and chronic inflammatory condition
– Used as a supportive treatment of treat acute painful conditions
– Used as a supportive treatment of treat high fever
– Can be given with antibiotics as an adjuvant
Dosage
IM or IV only
– Bovine,Equine: 20-30 ml (IM) for 3-5 days
– Sheep,Goat: 5-7 ml (IM) for 3-5 days
Note
It’s safe for pregnant animal
Contraindications
– Not to be used in cases of hypersensitivity to Phenybutazon
– Not to be used in cases that suffer from Cardiac insufficiency or nephritis
Drug Interactions
– Avoid giving Barabutazon with other Anti-inflammatory drugs
Side Effects
– It may cause irritation at the injection site
