Each 2g of Baranil-D granules contains 0.89g of Diminazene aceturate

Baranil-D is the trade name of an injectable powder, it contains Diminazine aceturate as an active ingredient, it’s a Trypanocide and Babesicide
Indications
1- Baranil-D is indicated for treatment of Babesia (Tick fever) in Cattles, horses, sheeps, adult goats and dogs
– Cattle: as Babesia Bovis, Babesia Divergens, Babesia Bigemina
– Sheep,Goat: as Babesia Ovis, Babesia Motasi
– Equine: as Babesia Equi, B Caballi.
– Dogs: as Babesia Canis
2- Baranil-D is indicated for treatment of Trypanosoma in camel
Dosage and administration
Only Deep IM
– Dissolve each 1g of Baranil-D in 8ml distilled water, and shake the bottle well
– Inject that drug in cold weather (not in warm or hot weather), as in early morning
– Cattle: 1ml\30-50kg b.w
– Sheep: 1ml\25kg b.w
– Adult Goat: 1ml\50kg b.w
– Adult horse: 1-1.5 ml
– Camel: 1ml\50kg b.w
Contraindication
– Not to be used in cases of hypersensitivity to Diminazine aceturate
Note
– In cases of sensitivity from Baranil-D, give (AtropineDana + Histazal + Baramethasone)

– Glass vial of 50ml capacity contain 4g of powder
– Glass vial of 100ml capacity contain 8g of powder
