Tilmidan 30% is the trade name of a sterile injectable solution, it contains the antibiotic Tilmicosin phosphate to resist and to get rid of Mycoplasma and the infectious gram+ve and gram-ve bacteria
Indications
– Tilmidan is indicated for treatment of Mycoplasmosis that effect lung (Pneumonia), udder (Mastitis), eyes (Ophthalmitis, Conjunctivitis), joints (Arthritis) and testicles
– Tilmidan is indicated for treatment of respiratory Infections (as CRD, Bronchitis, Bronchopneumonia, Pneumonia, Sinusitis) that are caused by the sensitive bacteria to Tilmicosin Phosphate (Mycoplasma, Pasturella, Haemophilus, Staphylococcus, Mannheimia haemolytica) in cattle & sheep only
– Tilmidan is indicated for the treatment of Mastitis
– Tilmidan is indicated for the treatment of Foot rot & Interdigital Dermatitis
Dosage
Slowly S\c injection in Cattle and sheep only
– Cattle,Sheep: 1ml\30kg
Contraindications
– Not to be used in cases of hypersensitivity to Tilmicosin Phosphate
– Contraindicated in lambs weighing 15kg or less
– Contraindicated in goat, horse, rabbit and hamsters
– Contraindicated in pregnant animal
– Contraindicated in lactating animal that produce milk for human consumption
Drug Interactions
– Avoid giving Tilmidan with Lincomycin
– Avoid giving Tilmidan with other Macolides
Side Effects
– It may cause lameness
– It may cause Anorexia
– It may cause pain at the injection site– It may cause swelling at the injection site
