Fylan Forte 20% is the trade name of a sterile injectable solution, it contains the antibiotic Tylosin Tartarate to resist and to get rid of Mycoplasma and the infectious gram+ve and gram-ve bacteria
Indications
– Fylan forte is indicated for treatment of Mycoplasmosis that effect lung (Pneumonia), udder (Mastitis), eyes (Ophthalmitis, Conjunctivitis), joints (Arthritis) and testicles
– Fylan Forte is indicated for treatment of respiratory Infections (as CRD, Bronchitis, Bronchopneumonia, Pneumonia, Sinusitis) that are caused by the sensitive bacteria to Tylosine Tartarate (Mycoplasma, Pasturella, Haemophilus) in cattle, sheep and goat
– Fylan Forte is indicated for the treatment of Mastitis
– Fylan Forte is indicated in cases of Metritis
– Fylan Forte is indicated for the treatment of Shipping fever
– Fylan is indicated for the treatment of Foot rot & Interdigital Dermatitis
– Fylan Forte is indicated for prevention of Secondary bacterial infections to viral infections
Dosage
– Cattle,Calves: 1ml\10kg b.w for 3-5 days
– Sheep,Goat: 1ml\10kg b.w for 3-5 days
Contraindications
– Not to be used in cases of hypersensitivity to Tylosin Tartarate
– Contraindicated in horse, rabbits and hamsters
– Contraindicated in birds that produce eggs
Drug Interactions
– Avoid giving Fylan Forte with Penicillins, Cephalosporins, Quinolones, Cycloserine, Lincomycin and Trimethoprim
Side Effects
– It may cause Anorexia
– It may cause Diarrhea
– It may cause pain at the injection site

Glass vial of 50ml, 100ml, plastic bottle of 500ml
Withdrawal time
– Meat cattle, calves, sheep and goat: 21 days poultry: 5 days
Milk: 4 days-
