Each 1ml OxyDan 10% contains 100mg of Oxytetracycline HCL

OxyDan 10% is the trade name of a sterile injectable solution, it contains the broad spectrum antibiotic Oxytetracycline HCL to resist and to get rid of Mycoplasma and the infectious gram+ve and gram-ve bacteria
Indications
– OxyDan is indicated for treatment of Mycoplasmosis that effect lung (Pneumonia), udder (Mastitis), eyes (Ophthalmitis, Conjunctivitis), joints (Arthritis) and testicles
– OxyDan is indicated for the treatment of gastrointestinal tract infections (as Enteritis, Bacterial diarrhea) and respiratory tract infections (as CRD, Bronchitis, Bronchopneumonia, Pneumonia, Sinusitis, Rhinitis, Necrobacillosis) that are caused by the sensitive bacteria to Oxytetracycline (E.coli, Haemophilus, Klebsiella, Shigella, Yersinia, Streptococcus, Pasteurella, Clostridium, Coxiella burnetii, Chlamydia, Brucella) in cattle, sheep and goat
– OxyDan aids in treatment of Tick fever
– OxyDan aids in prevention and treatment of most diseases that cause abortion (as Brucellosis, Q.Fever &
Chlamydiosis)
– OxyDan is indicated in cases of Metritis & Mastitis
– OxyDan is indicated for treatment of Septicemia, Arthritis & Epidermitis
– Oxydan is indicated for treatment of Leptospirosis, Foot rot & Erysipelas
– OxyDan is indicated in cases of Anaplasmosis & Heart water
– Oxydan is indicated for prevention of Secondary bacterial infections to viral infections
Dosage
S\C or IM injection only
– Cattle,Sheep,Goat: 0.5-1 ml\10kg for 3-5 days
Contraindications
– Not to be used in cases of hypersensitivity to Oxytetracycline
– Not to be used in animals that have renal or hepatic insufficiency
Drug Interactions
– Avoid giving Oxydan with solutions that contain Aluminum, Magnesium & Calcium
– Avoid giving Oxydan with Penicillins, Cephalosporins & Aminoglycosides
Side Effects
– It may cause tooth discoloration
– It may cause pain at the injection site
